Inland was awarded a Golden Cylinder Award for its Coors Light cut and stack label from the Gravure Association of the Americas (GAA). The winners of the 2019 Golden Cylinder Award were announced at the GAA Technical Forum in Richmond, VA on October 2.

The entries are judged by gravure professionals with knowledge and experience in the industry. After the two day judging period, the Coors Light label was chosen for exceeding standards in its class.

“The development of the thermochromic inks for the Coors Light mountains to turn blue when cold, enlisted all aspects of our partnership with MillerCoors,” said Mike Miller, Key Account Manager, “This innovative technology utilized on our gravure press takes Coors Light’s brand identity to the next level.”

The Gravure Association of the Americas uses the award to promote the gravure printing process and recognize technical achievement by printers in the industry.
